It has been 90 glorious years since the birth and establishment of this congregation at 20 ¼ Langston Road. During this time, the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Rollington Town has grown from strength to strength.
The last thirty years of this church’s history, 1991 to 2021 have been memorable. We had a cadre of pastors who received their batons from those who went before and ran the final legs of this relay with distinction and with God’s help. They were Pastors Teran Milford, (now deceased), Glenville Carr, Ucal Harris, Isaac Lewin, M. Jos Grant (now deceased), Cornel Jackson, Carl Cunningham, Errol Griffiths, Eric Nathan, Windel Montaque, Hanson Drysdale, Sebert Hamilton and Carl Honeyghan.

The last 30 years saw much growth in the membership of the church, and a massive improvement to the physical structure and its outreach programmes. The first improvements were done in the early 1990s.
- A split level to the rear of the building, housing the Children’s department upstairs, and an administrative block downstairs which includes a board room, pastor’s office, treasury dept and an all-purpose room
- A remodelled ceiling and additional ceiling lights
- A remodelled Baptistry
- A balcony to increase the seating capacity, from 400 to 500.
- Stained glassed windows were installed.
A rededication ceremony of the church building was done in 1996. In 2000 the church was furnished with new benches.
God continued to pour out His blessings on this church as 2001 saw the purchasing of 20 ½ Langston Road and in 2003 the purchase of 20 Langston Road.
At our 75th Anniversary celebrations in 2006, we received the gift of a keyboard, which is still in use.
Since 2014 we have undertaken a massive expansion programme. As we are aware this building programme continues and we have been seeing God’s blessings as the work continues from strength to strength despite periodic setbacks.
We must not forget to thank You Lord for the success of the programmes of the church over the years. We thank You Lord for the continuous work of all the departments of this congregation as they impacted the community and the church over the last ninety years.
We remember Lord that in the context of the church, medical work and education are the arms of evangelism. A monthly clinic became a feature serving both the church and the community. From this outreach ministry, many persons were added to the membership of the church. The establishment of the Destowe Bennett Basic School, the brainchild of Kenneth Destowe and Ivy Bennett, became a reality in 2002 as a combined effort of Ivy Bennett, Erma Hutton and Delores Sicard. Thank You Lord for our School and its positive impact on the church and the community.

Over the years, the church has engaged in many crusades and other evangelistic efforts that have added precious souls to the Kingdom of God. Despite our many challenges, we’re still proud to be called Seventh-day Adventists and additionally members of the Rollington Town Congregation.
